  • Art Therapist trained at University of Sheffield, Sheffield.

Since 1982 I have been working in various countries : in Poland, USA and UK.

Shortly after receiving Masters  Degree in Philosophy - Sociology, I came to the U.K. whereby I studies and work initially in social work and then art therapy. 

​In 2003 I undertook post-graduate specialist training at the Tavistock and Portman Clinic in London in Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytical Psychotherapist. This training equipped me to work with toddlers and their families; it especially prepared me to observe a child/young person and respond to what the child/young person might be communicating through their behaviour or play.   

For over 35 years I have been working with children, adolescents and adults in the NHS, charitable and private settings. 
I offer individual psychotherapy appointments to:
  • ​toddlers and their families
  • children
  • young people
  • young adults
  • ​adults

I also work with:
  • families, parents and carers
  • professionals who work in caring profession
  • therapy and counselling trainees
  • therapist in practice
  • providing specialist individual, group and organisational consultation/supervision,
  • ​in  teaching/training across multidisciplinary teams e.g. social workers, residential staff, medical staff, art psychotherapists, child psychotherapists, counsellors.​

I was involved with the Northern Programme for Art Psychotherapy  where I was associate lecture to Master level Art Psychotherapy training.

  • I exercise autonomous professional responsibilities based on the Professional Council Conduct and Ethics of the Association of Child Psychotherapy (ACP)
  • I have regular quality clinical supervision
  • I hold a Professional Indemnity Insurance for my independent practice
  • I have regular an enhanced check Disclosure and Barring Services ( DBS); originally known as Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) to work with vulnerable children and adults
  • I keep up to date with relevant policies for working with vulnerable children and adults 
  • I attend regularly relevant and up to date professional development training and courses.
